Sydney Anxiety Psychology (this website) is an independent directory resource. We are not a clinical service. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect and handle personal information submitted through this website, in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

We only collect information you voluntarily provide through the "Find a Psychologist" form:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your Sydney suburb or area (optional)
  • Any notes you choose to add (optional and at your discretion)

We do not collect health information, payment information, or any information not listed above.

How we use your information

Information you submit through the connection form is used solely to connect you with suitable AHPRA-registered psychologists in our network. Specifically:

  • Your contact details are forwarded to a relevant psychologist who will reach out to you directly
  • We do not use your information for marketing purposes
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for their own purposes

Analytics

This website uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service that does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and is compliant with GDPR and the Australian Privacy Act. Plausible records page visits, referral sources, and custom events (such as button clicks) in aggregate only. No personal information is collected via analytics.

Data retention

Form submissions are retained for a maximum of 30 days after the initial connection is made, after which they are deleted.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you at any time. To make a request, contact us via the form on our About page.

Third-party services

This website uses Netlify for form handling and hosting infrastructure. Netlify's own privacy policy applies to their handling of form submissions. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising tracking technology.
